Blue Monday

Supposedly today is the most depressing day of the year. Do you agree? Has today been worse than any other day of the year? Santa is long gone..... the bills have arrived...the holiday weight is still hanging around....the days are cold and short....the snow is getting deeper. Is that a good enough reason to be depressed? No way!! We should be like kids on a snow day and jump into it with relish!! Besides, we are supposedly closer to the happiest day of the year June 17th! Only 5 months to go!!! Yeeeehaaaawwww!!! NO, I am not downplaying serious mental illness. That is certainly not my plan here. In fact I admit to having severe anxiety disorder myself. Nothing to be ashamed of.....at least now that I am on my meds, right?

The furnace goes wonky now?

Really? We're in the middle of a severe cold snap and the furnace is only working intermittently!! RIDICULOUS!! We are going to freeze to death if this thing doesn't kick into gear. It's -23*C out there right now and we haven't headed for the nightly dip. Oh I hope this thing figures out how to make the connection and fire up all the way.
